Training of Trainers on Instructional Strategies
About the training
AFI puts in continuous and consistent effort in enhancing the quality of AFI events. The content for all events is carefully designed around the key objectives that the event is expected to achieve. Delivery is also given equal importance. AFI events are based on peer learning. Chairs and Co-Chairs of Working Groups, staff of institutions hosting Joint Learning Programs take the lead in designing agendas for AFI events.
To ensure maintaining of quality of content and delivery of AFI events, AFI conducts skill training on Instructional Strategies to equip members and its own staff with the skills to:
- Conduct learning needs assessment
- Develop session objectives and content
- Identify effective delivery methods
- Evaluating sessions
Who should attend?
This training is targeted is for selected AFI staff and AFI members who play a key role in the design and delivery of Capacity Building events, Working Group meetings, and those who are committed to participate in multiple AFI events.
