Developed by Alliance for Financial Inclusion (AFI) in collaboration with the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management, registration for the Certified Expert in Financial Inclusion Policy (CEFI) online course starts on 1 December, 2017 for the Spring intake of 2018.
The first online course, focused on the policy aspects of financial inclusion, provides exclusive knowledge on key financial inclusion policy areas including proportionate application of global standards, consumer education and empowerment, national financial inclusion strategies and measurement of financial inclusion impact.
With financial inclusion a key area in the global development agenda and a priority for financial regulators, as well as government initiatives, private sector, mobile money operators, and international development organizations, this online course is relevant to everyone. Capacity building is a core strategic goal — specifically for AFI members — in the next five years.
“We are very happy that with AFI — a member-driven organization of central banks and financial regulatory institutions from more than 90 developing countries — we are accompanied by a strong partner with the vision of making financial services more accessible to the world’s unbanked,” says Fatma Dirkes, Board Member and Head of Frankfurt School’s International Advisory Services.
Registration for the upcoming March intake starts on 1 December 2017. The six-month course is open to all.
