In Latin America and the Caribbean, there are several success cases and progress in developing digital financial services aimed at women-owned MSMEs, but there are still barriers that must be lowered or eliminated.

This framework aims to guide financial regulators and policymakers in developing and implementing financial policies and regulations to promote access to finance for women-owned MSMEs.
