Regional Workshop and Training on RegTech and SupTech as a Shared Inclusive Digital Infrastructure for Advancing Digital Financial Inclusion in the Pacific

This workshop and training are part of the Pacific Islands Regional Initiative (PIRI) workplan and reflect our shared commitment to fostering collaborative approaches to digital financial inclusion across the Pacific region.

Under the overarching theme, “RegTech and SupTech as a Shared Inclusive Digital Infrastructure for Advancing Digital Financial Inclusion in the Pacific”, the event will be delivered in two comprehensive parts:

• Day 1 will feature a regional workshop where PIRI members, technical experts, regional stakeholders, and partners will discuss the outcomes of the regional diagnostic study, deliberate on the proposed regional RegTech/SupTech blueprint, and endorse the draft roadmap for implementation, with strategic recommendations on its integration into the PIRI workplan.
• Day 2 and 3 will be dedicated to a technical training program focused on the practical applications of RegTech, SupTech, and inclusive digital infrastructure as critical tools for advancing and sustaining digital financial inclusion.
