Member trainings are hosted by AFI member institutions with a commitment to serve as centres of excellence for financial inclusion. These trainings present global and regional trends, frameworks, guidelines within a specific policy area. Based on the brand of peer learning, the core content is provided by the host institution, participants from AFI network institutions, AFI Management Unit and invited expert speakers.
The primary goal of Member Trainings is capacity development of the staff of member institutions to assist them in their current roles. The sessions are designed to ensure transfer of knowledge and expertise such that it leads toward policy changes and implementation of those policies. They are delivered both as 3-5 days in person events or 2-3 days virtual sessions.
