The Alliance for Financial Inclusion (AFI) is happy to welcome the latest addition to its network, Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan has joined AFI as a principle member. The AFI network is now comprised of 107 member institutions, representing 92 countries worldwide.
Financial inclusion has become one of the key objectives of the Central bank of Uzbekistan, with the overarching goal of increasing access to quality financial services and consumer empowerment. The Central bank looks forward to greater collaboration with international financial organizations in order to develop and employ smart policies to ensure enabling environment for expanding financial services for the unbanked.
