The Central Bank of Kenya has issued the Banking Sector Innovation Survey 2020 Report.

The aim of the survey was to establish the state of innovation in the banking sector in the period ended in 2020.

The information collected will enable the Central Bank of Kenya to continue to better understand the impact of Fintech on current operating models, including the emergence of new business models and the evolving and emerging risks. The information will also provide CBK with an informed basis for evidence-based public policy decisions on Fintech going forward.
