Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit housing organization that helps low-income people around the world access decent housing. As a humanitarian organisation focused on long-term development, aid and poverty alleviation, its mission is to build a safe environment where families and communities can thrive.
Since 2024, AFI and Habitat for Humanity’s Terwilliger Center for Innovation in Shelter have been working to identify how the enabling regulatory environment for inclusive, affordable, sustainable housing finance can be improved, and to support AFI members in developing and implementing effective policies.
