The World Food Programme (WFP) is the world’s largest humanitarian organization saving lives in emergencies and using food assistance to build a pathway to peace, stability and prosperity, for people recovering from conflict, disasters and the impact of climate change.
AFI and WFP are collaborating to support changes to national regulatory frameworks, so that people are more financially resilient as a result of digital financial inclusion. They are also working on gender-sensitive consumer protection, and to ensure that food-insecure women have greater economic power.
