Bangladesh has significantly enhanced financial access through mobile money and agent banking networks, focusing on Gender Inclusive Finance (GIF) to reduce the gender gap in financial access. The JLP aims to facilitate participants on leveraging BB’s experience with disaggregated data and innovative DFS to enhance women’s financial inclusion. It will highlight the importance of detailed data in developing policies and products for women and other underserved groups. The program will also explore Bangladesh’s initiatives to increase the uptake of DFS by women and Women-led MSMEs.
