The National Bank of Rwanda has launched a Financial Inclusion Dashboard to generate insight into the state of financial inclusion in the country.
Updated weekly using data from banks, MFIs, SACCOs, insurers, and e-money issuers, reporting through an electronic data warehouse, the dashboard will generate comprehensive insights into key financial inclusion indicators, including overall financial inclusion level, transactional and deposit accounts, savings, credit, and insurance, as well as different channels used to access financial services.
Designed to support informed decision-making and drive inclusion initiatives, the dashboard features customizable filters by gender, age, institution, type, location, and more. It will help policy makers to craft inclusive financial policies, help financial institutions to develop customer-focused solutions, and help development partners to enhance accessibility and funding strategies.
