What is WG-Connect?
WG-CONNECT is a voluntary, light-touch engagement Alumni program for former AFI Working Group members who wish to stay connected to the AFI network and the broader financial inclusion community.
Who can join WG-CONNECT?
Former AFI Working Group members who no longer serve as an active Working Group representative of an AFI member institution.
How WG-CONNECT members contribute
- Guest speaking
Contribute as a guest speaker or discussant at select AFI events, webinars, and knowledge dialogues. - Mentoring
Support mentoring exchanges with current Working Group participants, where relevant. - Knowledge sharing
Share experiences through occasional reflection pieces, interviews, or knowledge-sharing discussions. - Peer learning
Participate in peer learning discussions and policy roundtables focused on financial inclusion.
What WG-CONNECT offers
- Public Recognition across AFI knowledge platforms and publications.
- Event Acknowledgement at selected AFI events, including Working
- Group meetings and the Global Policy Forum.
- Alumni Certificate or digital acknowledgment.
How do I become a WG-CONNECT Member?
- Complete the Registration Form and click ‘Submit’
- The AFI Management Unit will review your application and confirm your registration
- Successful applicants will be added to the Alumni Network and invited to upcoming engagement opportunities
