The Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, Defence, Development Cooperation and Foreign Trade defines and implements Luxembourg’s foreign and European policy, coordinates the government’s external action, and endeavours to promote a coherent approach towards diplomacy, defence and development.
Since 2020, AFI’s Europe Representative Office has been based in Luxembourg, hosted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Ministry of Finance.
AFI and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Directorate for Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Affairs are working together to boost financial inclusion in Palestine. The project is helping the Palestine Monetary Authority develop and implement innovative and sustainable financial inclusion policies and regulations, with a focus on digital financial services and gender inclusive finance.
