The 10th anniversary of Arab Financial Inclusion Day in April 2026 brought together AFI members from across the Arab region to reflect on a decade of progress and explore the future of financial inclusion. Building on these discussions, this case study examines how financial inclusion has evolved across the region through stronger institutions, digital infrastructure, data-driven policymaking and targeted regulatory reforms.
Drawing on experiences from Egypt, Jordan, Morocco, Mauritania, Palestine and Sudan, the publication highlights key lessons and emerging priorities for deepening financial inclusion, strengthening resilience and advancing regional collaboration.
